Masculine Card

Today was my hubby's birthday so I decided to experiment a little bit. What I really needed for this was Always Artichoke cardstock but I did not have any. Argh! Oh well, so I imporvised and came up with this card. I got the inspiration from a card Michelle Wooderson posted on her blog awhile ago. Each of my kids made a card for their dad as well.
Recipe:
Stamps: Trendy Trees
Paper: Parisian Breeze, Manchester, Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Always ArtichokeAccessories: Button Latte, Linen thread, Big Shot, Texturz plate, DMC thread
Now for my kids cards. The first picture is my 6 year old daughter's. Can you guess just how old my hubby is? The second card is my 4 year old (Just had his birthday) son's card. He told us that he drew a picture of a man fishing in a boat. Well that is what I think it looks like too.
I love that my kids are creative. It sure makes staying home for the summer more fun.
Happy Stamping,
Danita

Hello Little Baby

Today, a friend called me up feeling a little stressed so I invited her over for an afternoon of stamping. Nothing like stamping to feel better. A friend of mine just had her first baby so here is the card that I came up with. I know that the colours are not your typical baby colours but lately I have been using bold colours. What do you think? Should baby cards always use subtle colours?
Recipe:
Stamps: Animal Stories, Sweet Little Sentiments
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Simmery White, Tall Tales DSP, Rose Red DSP
Inks: Brilliant Blue, Crushed Curry
Accessories: Full Heart Punch, Movers & Shapers Die, Magnetic Movers & Shapers, Big Shot, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals
Happy Stamping,

Wedding Card

I must first apologize for not blogging lately. The end of school came and with it came a house full of family. Our families really wanted to come out and see our new house that my husband built. So with the house full and my stamping room not quite ready yet, I have not done much stamping but I thought that I would post a card that I made for a couple that just renewed their wedding vows on their 10th wedding anniversary. I have seen this card posted on this blog http://stampingaddict.blogspot.com/. I tried to incorporate the colours that she selected for invites.

Enjoy the card and look for another posting tomorrow. Danita
